KIREEK - RETURN OF THE GOLDEN AGE
KIREEK is a DJ Band from Japan, consist of DJ Yasa & DJ HI-C.
They Won DMC World DJ Championships 5 times in a row from 2007 to 2011.
This movie was made in commemoration of their great achievements.
The story is inspired by the Golden Record attached on space probe "Voyager", I expressed 5 times champion by adding voyager's golden record to the 4 gold records still on their 4 turntables.
It is the story "If DJs find it before alien do...".
All objects were designed in the image of DJ instruments.
This movie was screened as their opening of the show in over a dozen cities in Japan.
Voyager Space Probe

Voyager 1 and 2 are the space probe launched by NASA in 1977 for exploring Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto and Neptune.
Two of Voyager have the golden records named "The Sound of Earth".
These are intended for any intelligent extraterrestrial life form, or for future humans, who may find them.
Those records are considered as a sort of a time capsule.
Voyager 1 became the first spacecraft to cross the heliopause and enter the interstellar medium.
Voyager 1's extended mission is expected to continue until around 2025 when its radioisotope thermoelectric generators will no longer supply enough electric power to operate its scientific instruments.
I can't stop expecting these records cause epic events for all human being.

Spaceship SL-1200
The Spaceship they board is inspired by the most famous turntable in the world, Technics SL-1200.
Top is the "wheel" of the turntable, next、the parts support the wheel is "arm base", Tail is "balance weight"
and body is Vestax mixer.
This ship has "Cupola" on the body, They are playing there.

All things were made by CG except two of KIREEK and music equipment.
It was shooted on the blue screen and composite with these objects and background.
Mars Antenna

Mars Antenna is a huge antenna really exist in Goldstone, USA. It has diameter 70m refrector.
There are similar facilities in Goldstone USA, Madrid Spain and Canberra Australia.
They form a network called "Deep Space Network"
Actually, 70m antenna is just one.

While navigating the deep space far from the Earth, KIREEK coincidentally found a Voyager drifting in outer space.
They sent out the golden record loaded on radio wave.ound
Earth scientist received it and misunderstood it.
But, Who received radio waves is not only People on Earth...
